Nintendos executive Vice President and Marketing, Reggie Fils-Aime acknowledged that there is mixed reception to the name of the Wii (which is a homonym of we), but they know that once their gamers and patrons of their products will eventually get used to its name as Nintendos aim is to make it available and inclusive of the mass-base of followers of their products. They are still focusing on the features of the Wiis remote controller and the variety of games in the spotlight. In addition, Fils-Aime said in an interview, We want to thank everyone who wrote good things about it the day you heard about it.
