What’s the best, affordable way to record guitar in your home?
George Washington asked:
I play a lot of instrumental electric guitar music like Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson, but have no way to record covers of them. I know NOTHING about recording. I would like to go from amp to mic if I could, without connecting digitally through a computer, I think that sounds bad.

use a tap recorder i guess?????
by simply setting up a tripod and a camera and then just playing i guess
No **** the computer, invest in a cheap home studio like an 8- track. You just plug the amp cord in and listen thru headphones, and then you can record other instruments (tracks) over it and make songs and burn them onto CDs.
you should get a studio our you can record it on your computer
