What is the best beginner guitar I can get?

Then moving on to electric
so which ones are best for beginners?
I don’t have enough time right now for lessons; should i wait until the summer to learn, when I have time for lessons, or can I just learn from books, internet, etc.

I got a Montana acoustic to start off with. They’re carried by a lot of music stores around my area. mine was $130. It’s got a good sound and looks nice. Plus the bridge isn’t too high so it’s pretty easy to play. Besides the initial soreness, my fingers didn’t suffer too much. I just started off with a chord chart and beginner’s basic dvd and have gotten pretty far along. Good luck
