Fortunately the LG 37 lcd tv processes full HD content and does a wonderful job doing so. The smaller size provides more choices for TV placement and the swivel stand that it has can rotate up to 20 degrees left or right to avoid the need of relocating your seats.

What really stands out though is the above average sound quality in the LG 37 LCD TV’s integrated speakers. The audio menu is pretty basic, but it offers 5 sounds modes depending on the type of broadcast and a Clear Voice feature. An SRS TruSurround XT option is also available, but it requires the Clear Voice feature to be turned off.

Watching high definition broadcasts and Blu-ray movies are quite an experience with both the image and sound super , but standard definition material has lack handling of black levels and offers less latitude.

It does hold some useful ports including 2 HDMI inputs, a USB port and even an RGB input along with S-Video, but no mark of an Ethernet port. The power consumption is outstanding at just over 70 watts and the standby option that lessens it to 1 watt is a quite welcoming feature.
