The Lively New York Bazaar
One time I overheard my sister-in-law saying that New York was her most favorite spot on Earth. She exclaims with joyful eyes and ecstatic expression while she told stories about New York and how adorable the city is. I so love New York! is the phrase she keeps on telling me as an ice breaker while retelling her encounters. I agree. New York is a very charming city and is a place that is bursting with life and people.
New York is a city full of shops, retail outlets, malls, boutiques that cater to the tastes of people from different walks of life. The city is filled with restaurants, historical edifices, offices, theatres, apartments, churches, schools and also well, queer spaces. The list is endless. You can almost find anything during these events, be it a piece of jewelry, a yummy farms produce or a lovely hand made item. The city is also a perfect venue where crafts fairs and bazaars are usually held because of its wide population.
New Yorkers find a great business opportunity through crafting. They are successfully able to turn their hobbies to money making opportunities. Crafts making is not a daunting task, as a matter of fact it is a piece of cake and a no-brainer for people who are naturally gifted with creativity and talent. A good business sense should also come in handy to make this little business a success.
A crafts fair or bazaar in New York is an example of a fun and lively business and merchandising gathering. Sellers show off their goods to ecstatic buyers. They further decorate their stalls with colorful items that make it more attractive and “saleable”. Sometimes, a live music or dance show is performed on the fair event to bring entertainment and enrich the shoppers experience. Craft fairs like this are also a haven for hand made products delicately made by one’s precious hands.
I cannot wait to catch a glimpse of another fair coming soon in my New York neighborhood!
