Sony Mdr-Xd200 – Wireless Mp3 Head Phones Review

If you are out of range, you get some chopping and then the signal drops off. I prefer this to the hissing I would get using the analog 140.

I live in an apartment building, so can’t watch TV or listen to music very loudly without disturbing my neighbors. I’ve been waiting for some time to buy some quality wireless headphones that are lossless and affordable. After breaking them in for a couple of days, they fit my head like a large comfortable head glove. I’ve worn them already for hours on end with very little ear fatigue. I am very pleased in all respects. The sound quality is excellent — on par with expensive, cable-connected phones. The cheaper one was half the price, but it was junk. Don’t buy a unit that uses infrared, which is directional, for the signal.

It seems to have a huge amount of mid-range, which just does not work for TV listening. If you’re a purist audiophile who spends most of his time listening to music, these may indeed have the better audio quality. However, there are a few things that really frustrate me about these cans. The much mentioned volume buttons that are too small are just one. Let me just say that he hasn’t found the magical area where the sounds begins to fade. One of the best features of these headphones is that they are open, so even though nobody can hear what he is listening to, he can still hear what’s going on around him. Your mileage may differ. The base-station cradle unit is relatively compact and hides behind my wide-screen LCD display, out of sight. I am so glad I spent the money for these headphones. I have been researching various models and brands and I decided to go with these due to the reviews here on Amazon.

The Sennheiser RS 180 is a solid performing unit thus far. It charges simply and easily.

The ONLY thing they need is a remote, as the control buttons are too close together making adjustments difficult while on your head. They are very comfortable and can be worn for extended lengths of time. It links up between headset and transmitter base in an instant. No tuning required as with the analog types. I have only two issues with this headset. The range of operation is not what I thought it should be.

They costed many times as much, though. The almost eleven foot cord/cable makes it comfortable to put on the sofa, listen and enjoy her songs. infrared wireless headphones. Purchased for myself, and I really like them. The bass is extremely light, you can barely feel it if you aren’t listening to rock songs. CORDLESS STEREO HEADPHONES.
