Nothin But Super Mario Galaxy For Wii
Super Mario Galaxy was introduced by Nintendo EAD Tokyo and granted by Nintendo for Wii. This is the fastest-selling Mario game to date in its first week at retail.
It was released in Japan on the 1st of November 2007 and sold 912,746 copies according to Famitsu. In Canada, Super Mario Galaxy has become the third best-selling video game 5 months after it was released.
Super Mario Galaxy is the third platformer in the Mario series, after Super Mario 64 and Sunshine. This game was first presented at E3 2006.
Super Mario Galaxy uses an advanced Physic system that allows for a unique feature. There are certain points in this game in which the players actions are limited to a 2-dimensional axis, reminiscent of 2D Mario games.
The main focus of the game is the Comet Observatory that contains six themed domes that provide entry to the forty-two galaxies accessible in the game. Regularly, five “Prankster Comets” appear (Speedy, Daredevil, Cosmic, Fast Foe, and Purple). Immediately, a special challenge is introduced that leads to a Power Star when one of the prankster comets appears into orbit with a galaxy.
There are minor complaints from the reviewers such as difficulties to control spring suit. The auto camera occasionally stumbles and some criticize the plot. But still, Super Mario Galaxy received universal success.
