Nikon D3 Digital SLR Camera is Nikons very first full frame digital SLR camera and the worlds first camera to have virtual horizon graphics indicator. It has lots of features including EXPEED, Active D-Lighting, A/D Conversion and Live View shooting modes.

It is a 12.1 megapixel camera with an FX format CMOS sensor, which features high-speed 12-channel readout. This professional grade, digital single lens reflex camera has a 35mm or 36×24 mm frame. It also has Electronic Virtual Horizon Graphics Indicator so you can position the camera accurately.

This camera has a durable, self-diagnostic shutter system that offers blazing shooting speed. It can give you 9 frames per second at full resolution. It has the ability to shoot up to 11 frames per second in DX crop mode. With a camera this fast, shooting sports and fast-action scenes are a lot easier.

It has an expandable base sensitivity of ISO 200 to 6400 and with 25,600 available as a boost option. It has selectable expanded range: Lo-1 with 100 ISO, Hi-1 that offers ISO 12,800 and Hi-2 of 25,600 ISO.
