Because they probably aren’t going to get caught, they don’t feel as though there’s any reason for them to stop what they’re doing. It’s a rationalization process that keeps them from having to consider the actual consequences of their actions.

Try to understand how the people who work on movies feel. They live on the money they make from the film, and they won’t make any when somebody downloads a movie as opposed to buying it.

You put them in a very bad position, and should feel guilty about what you’re doing. It’s a hard habit to give up, but it’s just the not the right thing to do.

We often justify our downloads by thinking that all people who work in movies are overpaid, and in some cases, this is true.
