I really love playing guitar with blues style music, but for a carreer?

What should I do for a career, I 'm a junior in HS and the need to start considering what to pursue in my life, really love music and the guitar, but I know that not many positions are open for that kind of thing. However, I am also in technology and software technology. What should I do with the university and higher education, I truly believes that I should follow my dreams with music, but having heard what so many musicians have moved up in debt because of failure to make the “big”, i don 't know if what is the best route for me. Many musicians also get moved up in drugs and stuff in that I made a vow to myself that I will not ever;) so what should I do?

Streven naar een IT-graad terwijl je speelt gitaar op de zijkant lijkt het meest logisch is voor mij, als u dit groot in de muziek-industrie, met een diploma wordt niet gaan pijn doen, en ik misschien verkeerd maar als gitarist maakt t moet u beschikken over een diploma in de muziek als je talent.
