How do I join or start a band?

So I’ve been playing guitar for about 5 years now. I wanna start a band but EVERYONE in my college plays guitar. No one plays anything else. So how do I get a band started? I play metal, death metal, blues, and classic rock.

Im in no way musical but always go ask when you don’t know what to do. Go out and be friendly with a band. Just be honest and ask how they got started.Perhaps even read ads of bands and contact them if they need a replacement or extra. Good Luck. Perhaps if there is a message board put up your talent is available.
I would suggest maybe posting on the internet like myspace or something.
Or maybe you will get a few offers from this lol.
Or maybe you could like post flyers around locally or something.
