HDTV 1080p – The Way It’s Meant to Be Watched

I got this new plasma 58 inch HDTV from Panasonic and all I can say is wow. Our family got together to watch a movie and the picture and audio was just stunning. This is the experience that I have never had before.

I’m old enough to remember black and white TV sets and this is a huge leap that I have never imagined to witness myself. When I was a child, I could have never imagined in my wildest dreams there would be things like this in future. Now we live in that future and see these things.

The picture is crystal clear. I’ve heard that phrase so many times and I thought it was really silly to say that. I always thought they should have to think of something more practical to describe it, but when you see it for yourself, you are literally speechless. Turns out it’s really crystal clear!

To really describe it I guess you should say it’s like watching through window, only that it’s a better quality view that watching the view outside. But can a picture be of a better quality than the real view?

You see, my eyes aren’t the same so that adds to the effect too. But really in reality there is many disturbance, shall I say. You can’t see as good into far or you can’t see as good from close to something and that view kinda distorts. In HDTV, you see the picture at the same distance at once and at the detail that 1080p pulls off it’s like watching reality in better quality.

“Reality in better quality”. You have heard that from me first I think that there’s a future to move further, but at this stage the picture can hardly get any better in this frame. But we can look forward to 3D TV or something else that can add depth to what we have.
