Great Voice Quality – Wireless Home Stereo Review
On the other hand, if the earphone charging station and transmitter were separated, I guess they might both need AC power, which would increase the cost of the unit. There is also a split-second delay between the time you hear something on the TV speakers, and the time you hear the same thing on the headphones. Playing video games for example, the menus were soft and subtle, and the actual game music explodes with vivacity. It’s easy to strain your ears by underestimating how neutral they can be.
This was entirely the fault of the Sony. Having said that, the sheer ability of this set to reproduce sound simply overcame the shortcomings.
We use Sennheiser products (mics) in our Rock Band and the performance is consistent and high-end quality. I would recommend this product to others. Very comfortable and out on patio with great volume. The grandkids can I watch TV.
This is simply not true, and I don’t know why he told me this. This is not a negative about the 180′s since maybe nobody is looking for this feature except me, but it is a severe mis-statement of fact by a Sennheiser representative. I bought it as a birthday present for my husband. It came nicely packaged. Problem is controls, the power and volume up and down buttons on next to each other. You always accidentally turn the headphones off while trying to turn up or down the audio.
After shopping around for a new pair I finally decided to give the wireless a try. I really did not want to waste a bunch of money for a lesser model so I went all in with the RS 180′s and I am truly amazed.
Here’s a quick review for you. The quality is absolutely great, and the range is incredible. The product is fine, except for the select bottoms. They are hard to find, because they are even with the earpiece and one has to search for the right one. I can’t vouch for the range though; I have little reason to prance around with these. But as for upstairs and downstairs in the same house, no worries with these headphones.
I am not an audio geek by any means, so this review is for the normal everyday person that would like a pair of quality wireless headphones to watch TV. There is no static or hum that comes through these headphones, and I repeat none! I would even say that in some instances the quality is better than what I hear normally through my speakers. I was a little concerned about purchasing wireless headphones and the effect it would have on the quality, I would say it is not a concern any more. The sound is excellent. The controllers are much better indexed than those on the 140.
The only real downside I believe is the lack of weight for these sound proof headphones. It features a smaller cup compared to the sony. COOL HEADPHONES. These infrared wireless headphones are the most useful I ever had. The quality of sound is pretty great. Infrared Wireless Headphones.
