Does Music Help Children?

Shine Music asked:

Why is music important for kids? This issue has been debated for as long as the time it existed. Even the great philosophers Greeks and Romans have approached the question: the music is something that should be taught to and it helps make the development of children? Plato responded to “Teaching children music, physics and philosophy, but for more music, as models in music and all arts are the keys to learning.” And yet? of? â what then is training to be? Perhaps we could just find one better than that experienced in the past has already discovered, that is, I believe, in on the gymnastics for the body and music for? of? mind.â of all crops in the world music plays an important role. While these roles may change according to the crop is impossible to separate the music from the life of an individual. While some may debate the role of music in our lives is impossible to escape. Even in popular culture in Australia is impossible to go buy without hearing music. The music provides the means of communication and the expression of specific culture and identity. Children are immersed in music since birth and will take place throughout their lives. If this is the case because insegnigli? It is not the constant immersion in music enough? To this I say, is that witness the results of major scientific results on a daily basis in understanding of those scientific principles? No is no and similarly for music that does not. The meetings that day with music we can move but the understanding of this music can help you develop as individuals. In many cultures the family plays the main role in the formation of music. Families are the most commonly those who teach music to children of their crop. As children at a young age, we are commonly sung to the nursery rhymes. These provide entertainment for children and often little information repeatedly. Children learn by repetition and structure that information was passed inside. many nursery rhymes to teach the essential lesson of life and then installs the music to education. Children learn by music from a young age and continue for the rest of their lives. In a world where globalization and consumerism are dominating cultural identities are drifting in the background and children are more likely to be sung pop songs like? s? Lullaby of the rhymes in kindergarten. The benefit of nursery rhymes and progressive learning has become in an issue. The children are missing out on key opportunities for learning. The effect of Mozart that has gained great followed? s? 1990a claimed that listening to Mozart as a child makes a child more astute. While this movement was of short duration and there is little evidence that working there was the denial that children who learn that music will carry out more about other features of their academic life. The music gains of the children learn to express their identity, gain confidence and develop a sense of time and space. A research group at the University of Munster in Germany found that students who study music have developed the skills of abstract reasoning that are very closely linked to learning in science and mathematics. I do not think there is all this debate? the question | music is a vital part of a training? s? the child and should be taken seriously. Listening to music is not enough! A child must learn to think music, and that's what will help the development of the child and their academic development.written by Gemma Lee www.shinemusic.com.au by teachers of piano, the saxophone, violin, singing, drums, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, flute and the clarinet
