Craft Fairs Selling vs. Online Selling

During these times more people are turning to the practical side of life, they either get rid of other habits that they got used to or look for other ways to earn more. Some people who have their day time jobs learn how to make a sideline or side business in order to have something to spend for a planned weekend vacation, a piece of dress or even just to add up on her savings. They usually make use of their skills of their talents in order to earn extra cash.

Creative people are deemed lucky because they can use this inner core gift to their advantage. They can make crafts and sell them to people they know who would be willing to buy them. Craft fairs or shows are excellent venues where creative minds and spirit meet. They make use of their talents in order to earn more and thus fend for their needs more. These venues are full of people who use their creativity in order to earn more.

Online selling is another option where you can sell your goods using the internet as your medium. You can take images of your work and post it in your websites or blog for buyers to see. Payments are usually made through online banking and/ or money transfers. This is also advantageous as anyone can sell their crafts right at the comfort of their homes. It means no registration/ booth fees, no transportation and membership dues which are common on craft fairs.

So which is better?

These two have their own share of advantages and disadvantages. Selling in festivals will give you a first hand view and experience on selling. It will provide a first hand encounter or interaction with your buyers, which is a very important factor in selling. I prefer selling to crafts fairs. Why? It is because of the experience of that you will gain by selling your stuffs face to face. I believe that interacting and speaking with your customers are a best way to learn how to effectively sell and be good in the business.

Creative people are lucky because they can use this inner core gift to their advantage. They can make crafts and sell them to people they know who would be willing to buy them. They can go to craft fairs or craft festivals where more people can view their products and where there could be higher chances that it could be bought. Crafts fairs are a venue where sellers and buyers meet and greet in one roof. These venues are full of people who use their creativity in order to earn more.

Online selling is another option and the latest venue in selling your products. It is where people make use of the Internet through creating websites or blogs that address to your product. It states there your products information along with its description and price. Online selling is a cheaper alternative to sell your stuffs since you dont need to pay booth or exhibit dues. You also dont need to cash out on transportation and demobilization expenses. Online selling is a great tool to market your goods as well.

So what is the better option in selling your crafts?

I believe both have the same advantages and disadvantages but for me, I prefer selling to crafts fairs. Why? It is because of the experience of that you will gain by selling your stuffs face to face. I believe that interacting and speaking with your customers are a best way to learn how to effectively sell and be good in the business.
