Controllers For Wii
Wii exhibited by Nintendo at the E3 conference parade and gamers were given a chance to check the advanced technology of this newest gaming console. But fans didnt get any idea of its price and availability.
In a Monday evening press conference set by Sony, the company announced the launching of PlayStation 3 in North America on November 17. This Sonys new-generation console will be out with two hard drive sizes that waiting gamers can choose from. The sizes were 60 GB for the price of $599 and a 20 GB hard drive which is a hundred dollar lesser– $499.
With the Wii Remote, Nintendo showed the unique revolution of game consoles. The Wii remote controller allows the players to play a sport game and fighting game while moving freely. But though the company already presented the product, the release date and price of the newest game console was still not revealed.
When Nintendo presented the Wii remote controller and its distinct features the company also took the chance to show the 27 games that will be available for the Wii game console upon its release in the market. The company still stick to their decision about not mentioning the release date and price of the console thus to make gamers be more interested to discover the real use and experience of Wii.
Highlighting the Wiis remote controller and diversity of games on center stage, and focusing on Nintendos aim to make the game accessible and wide-ranging for their mass-base of gamers who have been patronizing their products. They named their newest console the Wii as homonym to we. In an interview, Nintendos VP for Sale and Marketing, Reggie Fils-Aime admitted that the name is receiving mixed reviews, but is a positive that fans will eventually recognize the name of the Wii. Fils-Aime was grateful for the response of a lot of people who wrote good things about the Wii the day they knew about it and saying in an interview, We want to thank everyone who wrote good things about it the day you heard about it.
Nintendo had given word that they are looking at releasing the Wii in the fourth quarter of 2006. Also, that they are looking at a more affordable price tag compared to its competitors Sony PlayStation3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 as they are looking at attracting a wide-range of players.
