Beginner Magic Tricks and how easy they really are

We have seen a ton of magic tricks throughout the decades. Some are done by professionals and are far beyond the abilities of a beginner. A few famous people out there are the famed Seigfried & Roy who enjoyed using white tigers to do their bidding and helping in almost every magic trick and illusion that they performed. You used to be able to catch them anytime you wanted on the famous Vegas strip but no longer since one of their tigers attacked one of them.

You may also remember great magician David Copperfield, who one among the great magicians was able to disappear the statue of liberty in front of the entire nation! The oldest of magicians would be the famous Harry Houdini who perform illusion after illusion and finally pushed himself too far and accidentally drowned himself while locked and chained upside down in a barrel of water.

The reason for the history lesson is because you should know that all of the greats magicians started as beginners and that is just how it is. You have to crawl before you can walk in life and the same goes for in the world of Magic and Illusions. Beginner magic tricks are where first beginners should always get their start. Ever one has to start somewhere right?

One easy magic trick to do is called “Reading your Mind”. This magic trick is best to start out on an easy one. Start out this trick by using some clear tape and wrap it around your right thumb. Just ensure that the sticky side is on the outside. Break the tip off of a pencil and press it to the bottom side of your thumb on the tape. Try to keep this act hidden from your audience by doing it beforehand or at least very discreetly so that your audience does not see. Make sure you have a note book or notepad of some kind.

Say that you can read the minds of people to your audience and now you write a number and a shape on the paper. Make a huge deal about how you are writing on the paper when really you aren’t writing anything at all. Hide the notepad from your audience and randomly choose a person from the audience. Ask him to pick a number from one to ten. As he answers you secretly use your thumb with the pencil tip on it and write the number on the paper. Just make sure your audience sees you acting like you are concentrating and not writing anything! Then, do those same things after you ask them to name a shape. That it show the paper with the shape and number on it to your audience and watch as they are amazed on how you have accomplished the reading of a mind!

Beginner magic tricks and every magic trick out there are just hidden tricks and science nothing more. With a good preparation, some help with volunteers, and some good acting and you can entertain your audience
